Congressman Ron Paul argued that he opposes abortion from a Christian and Libertarian perspective. His remarks were made to an audience Monday in Iowa. Politico reported Paul as saying:
“Life comes from our creator, not our government…Liberty comes from our creator, not from government. Therefore, the purpose, if there is to be a purpose, for government is to protect life and liberty.”
Rand Paul (his son) remarked earlier that at least one Paul will run. Is the 76 year-old Pro-Life Libertarian going to make another run for the presidency?
