I will be taking a two week caesura, in light of the final exams and ( I need to be disciplined in my reading) the different events I will be attending. Peace be with you.
How have you been by the way. I hope exams went well, and that your having a little fun.
PS. I’m thinking about opening a theonomy blog – some thing like theonomicpolicy.com
The blog would focus on short introductory posts on classic theonomy. Basically I would pull out some long quotes from Bahnsen and others, and discuss it a bit. I have a ton of material to work with in the form of audio and lots of notes I’ve taken on the subject. I hope to popularize it and educate evangelicals and dispensationalists – and scare the tar out of some liberals. Not only that but I would like to remind the church that theonomy is not dead, and that in fact it has attributed to much of the political movement in the last 30 years – although much of that movement has been quite watered down. I would love for us to be a new voice in theonomy – focused on popularizing it a little more. Rather than keeping it tucked away in the reformed camp. 🙂
Finally, I stated a new blog that has been in hiding, called Kirk News. It’s subtitled, “Christian Opinions On Contemporary Culture”. It’s meant to be a thoughtful, critical, look at western culture through the lens of the Christian world-view. I would love it if you would contribute or else allow me to post some of your posts there. (Of course I would link back and add you to the blogroll) I think you would enjoy and, of course, your thoughts would be highly appreciated.
Uri,
I live in Clermont and was wondering if you were still at New Life Presbyterian. I would like to talk with you about the church at your convenience.
Thank You,
Mark
