Sean Hannity once again continued what appears to be a purposeful attempt to avoid the naming of Ron Paul. Hannity took a large portion of his first hour to discuss the Ames Straw Poll. He praised Romney by asserting that we should honor the successful men of our country. He proceeded to name the Republicans starting with winner Mitt Romney; he then mentioned second place Mike Huckabee, third place Sam Brownback, fourth place Tom Tancredo, and before mentioning the fifth, (Ron Paul) he skipped to mention that Tommy Thompson (sixth place) dropped out of the race. I may be overly skeptical here, but there is reason to believe that Hannity has continually avoided the mention of Ron Paul on his radio program since the day second Republican debate, where he and Paul had a heated discussion in the post-debate interview. Fortunately, the Wall Street Journal observed Ron Paul’s campaign success:
Fourth place and fifth place went, respectively, to Reps. Tom Tancredo of Colorado and Ron Paul of Texas — impressive showings for two men with narrowly defined candidacies.
Mr. Paul, meanwhile, has built a fanatical following that has embraced his libertarian message and antiwar, anti-interventionist views; supporters came at their own expense from as far as Washington state to help out, though only Iowans could vote.

I have had the opportunity to listen to some of Hannity in the car these last two weeks. It has been interesting to me that I have yet to hear Ron Paul’s name. Every other candidate is mentioned, for better or for worse, but Ron Paul’s is nowhere to be heard. This seems very odd to me. Is Hannity any more fair than CNN or MSNBC or the like? Clearly, I think not. The best candidate, in his and many others eyes, seems to be the one who will run us into more military debt/ spending and spread our troops more so over the know world. Lord have mercy on these United States!
Sometimes I have to make a run to the storage room to get some books for my boss. I only get to listen to a few moments from Hannity or Limbaugh, whoever is on at that time. I have for the last year focused my attention on Internet radios for the most part, since everything Hannity says is as predictable as the arguments against postmillenialism.
I think you are absolutely right concerning the candidates Hannity supports. It is amazing how his support for Giuliani has led him to abandon his so-called moral views, all because he he favors an immoral war. How ironic!
I listen to Hannity every day. He never mentions Ron Paul. I too heard him on Monday when he mentioned everybody’s name except Ron Paul. Even today he said how he is giving all the Republicans air time. He has never had Ron Paul on his show. He is a lap dog for Giuliani, it is so obvious. I don’t know why more people can’t see it.
