Bavinck on Positivism

Matthew Roberts’ piece on Bavinck’s prolegomena discusses Bavinck’s scathing critique of positivism, which asserts that “we can only be certain things which are proved by objective evidence. (88). Bavinck observes  that we can be certain that “our subjective perception of an object does relate to the object itself (88).”
