Psalm 1
Pastor: Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked,
People: And in the way of sinners does not stand, And in the seat of mockers does not sit;
But rather in Yahweh’s Teaching is his delight,
And on His Teaching he meditates day and night.
And he is like a tree planted by streams of waters,
Who yields his fruit in his season,
And his leaf does not wither,
And whatever he does prospers.
Not so the wicked!
But rather they are like the chaff that Spirit-wind blows away.
Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
For Yahweh knows the way of the righteous,
But the way of the wicked shall perish.
Blessed be Yahweh, God of Israel.
From everlasting to everlasting.
